Right to Restrict Processing

Purpose of the Right: Data subjects can request the restriction of their data processing in specific situations, such as when the accuracy of the data is contested or the processing is unlawful. This means the data can only be stored and not further processed.

Request Process: Individuals can make a request, and organisations must respond within one month. While processing is restricted, organisations can still store the data but must not process it unless consent is given.
